Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use OEM parts to service my repair?

We use OEM parts for most repairs as long as they are available. When an OEM part is unavailable, we will substitute one of our VE parts that meets or exceeds OEM standards.

Do you test my part once you receive it?

We do not test parts upon arrival as part of our technician safety protocol and to avoid further equipment damage. All units received are assumed to need a disassembly, wash, and reassembly. Even if a unit is in working condition, conducting a deep clean and recalibration can prolong life.

After I receive my repair, are my individual settings and programming parameters retained?

When possible, we will leave your pre-saved settings; however, a factory reset is necessary in some cases, especially in significant repair cases.

Will you replace the belt when repairing my bill validator?

Yes. All validator belts are changed during a repair unless they are new.

Do you offer a rush service?

We can accommodate rush repair services when needed depending on our current repair volume. Surcharges may apply.

I have an old unit that the OEM no longer supports. Can you repair it?

In most cases, yes. Due to our large parts inventory, we can repair units manufacturers have deemed obsolete. However, we cannot complete a repair if the marketplace no longer offers the parts.

What length of warranties do you offer?

We offer warranties in terms of 6 and 12 months.

I have a part that needs to be repaired, but I don’t see it listed. Will you service it?
